Promiseland in Austin, TX is one of those rare churches. Our pastor still gets his hands dirty every day after pastoring this church for 40 years, and starting 5 or more new churches in only 4 years. True, most people doing the youth ministry just don't make much money. Of course, even a modest-income in America is real wealth compared to the incomes/lifestyle of the majority of people around the world. Take it from one who knows...leaving full-time ministry to live a high-paying American lifestyle will eventually lead you in a circle.
